Happy Mondays

A weekly social lounge on Ramsgate high street providing a safe space for Thanet residents to come together, form supportive bonds and connect with the wider community.

A space where people who would not be able to afford massage, or ever think about it receive weekly free hand and feet massages, given by our wonderful wellbeing team of paid staff and volunteers.

A space where we are all equal together, sharing stories, creating art work and supporting each other.

Our Happy Mondays playlist is growing and at some point in each session, the music gets turned up and we all have a dance.

In some cases, coming to Happy Mondays is the only time people step out of their front door.

In some cases when people are in crisis, they still feel they can walk through the doors of Happy Mondays and be OK.

The power of simple art activities. When your head feels in a scramble – choosing which colours you want to paint and where, can help calm the noise and be extremely empowering.

Our Happy Mondays scrap book is full of joyful drawings, and messages of wellbeing.
